Got a question about this stage of life?

How to Cope with Our Well-Earned Wisdom Stripes

I’m the first to admit, life is too short to sit and suffer, and especially when there are scientifically based solutions available that help us continue to enjoy our health even though we are ageing.

Sure, we trade some of our youthful looks for some wisdom stripes – which we may not love when we look in the mirror – but if we feel good about ourselves these ‘lines of experience’ become far less significant.

Perhaps you are experiencing joint aches and pains, low energy levels and a general lack of zest for life. If you’re a woman, you may be at the life stage of hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia and disturbed nights. You may lack your usual sex drive or just generally feel fat around the middle and out of shape…and you’re saying, “what’s happening to me?”

Let’s be positive, there are natural solutions that can get you back to feeling even better than you can remember.

I know the blah feeling, since I’ve been there

After 25 years of running the Natural Health Advisory Service, it’s been a goal of mine to spread the word about scientifically based natural solutions to people all around the world. I am now able to do that through my TV series The Really Useful Health Show and through websites like this. And I am not just preaching without having experienced problems myself, even though I have written 25 self-help books over the years. About 8 years ago I stopped exercising and looking after myself in the usual way after our house flooded and we had to move several times in a short period. I noticed that I began to get so achy in the mornings when I got out of bed – I felt about 90. I was so determined to feel good again that I began exercising, went back to taking my red clover and my fish oils and within a few months I felt good again.

I can honestly say that I don’t feel any different now physically than I did in my twenties and it’s all down to following my own advice. But Rome wasn’t built in a day and so you will need to be patient. It may take two, three or even four months before you feel back to normal and possibly even better than you can remember feeling before.

I am happy to answer your questions at my monthly telephone workshops and during my web chats – so go to my website askmaryonstewart.com and check out the dates and send me your questions. I look forward to working with you.
